Ted "Series of Tubes" Stevens indicted on corruption charges

The NY Times reports that Senator Ted Stevens from Alaska has been indicted on federal corruption charges.
He is infamous for pushing through the "Bridge to Nowhere" in Alaska.
Among techies, he became the laughingstock when he compared the Internet to a "series of tubes."
All I can say is good riddance...
