Most of the problems I have seen so far were channel "freezes": the channel shows a static picture.
These are the outages for August 2004 that I have noticed since the switchover:
- 2004-08-14 to 2004-08-16
Channels frozen: KTLA, ABC, ABC Family, E Style - 2004-08-17 to 2004-08-18
No signal all channels (in building 3200) - 2004-08-18 to 2004-08-20
Channels frozen: NBC, Discover - 2004-08-22 to 2004-08-23
Channels frozen: CNN - 2004-08-24
Channels frozen: TV5 - 2004-08-25
Channels frozen: KTLA, G4 Tech TV - 2004-08-25 to 2004-08-26
Channels frozen: GSN - 2004-08-26 to 2004-08-27
Channels frozen: TNT - 2004-08-28 to 2004-08-30
Channels frozen: AMC, SciFi - 2004-08-31 to 2004-09-01
Channels frozen: Cartoon, A&E

When I complained about the frozen channels this morning, I was told that I “could move.”
Also, the tech guy managing this whole mess, Kevin Ansel, is going on vacation… So I guess there is nobody then to fix problems…

Who suggested moving as an alternative to actually fixing the television service? That’s pretty unprofessional in my opinion.
